Cookie policy: what is kept on your device
srsreport.co.uk keeps your answer to the cookie notice on your device.
Google Analytics sets its cookies, and Snitcher, which identifies the organisation a visit comes from, stores an identifier, only if you accept.

The rule
Why this page lists more than cookies
Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 is not limited to cookies.
It says a person must not store information, or gain access to information stored, on a user’s device, subject to the exceptions in Schedule A1.
The ICO’s guidance makes the same point: the rules apply to any technology that stores or reads information on your device.
So this page lists browser storage as well as cookies.

The three older names exist only on a browser that answered an earlier version of the notice, and they are removed the first time the current notice runs.
Schedule A1, paragraph 4 exempts storage that is strictly necessary for a service you asked for, including keeping a record of selections you made on a website.
Remembering your answer is that kind of record: without it the notice would appear on every page.
The notice
Accept or decline
Before anything else runs, each page sets Google’s consent-mode defaults to denied.
Those defaults are a signal inside the page itself; they send nothing anywhere.
Snitcher loads on every page with its own equivalent setting, waitForConsent, so it stores nothing on your device until you accept.
Accept tells Snitcher it may store its identifier; Decline tells it not to.
The privacy policy says what Snitcher records and how to object.
Sign-in cookies are set by uksrs.org.uk on its own domain, where the account lives; none of them is set on, or read by, this site.
We count page views with Google Analytics and Snitcher. Google Analytics and Snitcher set cookies only if you accept. Until you do, Google Analytics and Snitcher still load but store nothing on your device and send no persistent identifier, though they can see your IP address. Snitcher also identifies the organisation you are visiting from, using your IP address, and records which pages it viewed, so we can see which organisations are interested in our work. Whichever you choose, your answer is kept in your browser, so we do not ask again. Signing in happens on uksrs.org.uk, where an account holds your name and surname, email address and organisation, and your activity and conversations in the member app.
Snitcher identifies the organisation from your IP address whatever you answer; Accept adds an identifier that links your return visits.
Changing your mind
Clearing your answer, and the notice again
To see the notice again, clear the stored site data for srsreport.co.uk in your browser settings.
The notice will appear again on your next visit.
Every mainstream browser also lets you block cookies and site storage altogether; this site works fully without them, except that the notice will keep appearing.
The booking page’s widget is Cal.com’s, and its own privacy policy covers anything it stores.
